For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
For this one post I depart from the theme of presenting one of the hymns in my heart. We had a visiting preacher today at Liberty Baptist Church. The preacher told us about his heart surgeon that recently committed suicide but had been reaching out for help with his aching heart. The evangelist said that we should seek out people who are looking for help, for help with pain in their souls.
If you are at this site today and are not looking for my thoughts on a hymn you may be searching, searching for help. I can tell you that Jesus loves you, that he died for you and that no matter who you are or what you have done, he can heal your soul. I wrote in my very first post about God’s love; he will save you and never let you go. Would you call on Jesus today, right now, and ask him to forgive your sins and to come into your heart? He surely will. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out (John 6:37).
Please don’t put it off. Call on Christ now.
